Kayla Hyatt M.E.d., BCBA, LBA
Kayla Hyatt is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and the Founder of Leap Behavior Consultants, a Maryland-based ABA practice dedicated to delivering ethical, individualized, and family-centered support. She has been working in the field of behavior analysis since 2012, providing services across school settings, homes, and community programs. Her background includes early intervention, school-based consultation, caregiver coaching, interdisciplinary collaboration, and intensive functional behavior support for children with diverse needs.
Across more than a decade of experience, Kayla has remained committed to high-quality, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care. She prioritizes functional skill development, clear communication, and building strong, trusting relationships with the children and families she serves. Her work is grounded in evidence-based practice, compassion, and an emphasis on helping children thrive in their natural environments.
Kayla founded Leap Behavior Consultants to offer a more personal, clinician-led alternative to high-volume ABA models. Her vision is rooted in quality over quantity—ensuring families receive thoughtful assessment, consistent BCBA involvement, and collaborative treatment planning that reflects each child’s unique strengths, needs, and family goals.
